Little Miss Muffett starts again

I think about this when I watch reality TV. If you are going to go on Top Chef, you need to have 1-2 dessert recipes in your back pocket. Amazing Race? Be able to drive stick and ramp up your cardio. Project Runway? Plus size and bathing suit. Duh.

Seriously people, it’s season 16. Even if you have never made clothes for other sizes before, don’t you think you’d work on that before you go on a reality show? It’s really sad that designers are more comfortable making an outfit out of batteries and dryer lint than they are making a wrap dress for a size 12 woman.

Because her parents chose to share it publicly on channels that include tens of thousands of people, and they chose to do so in a way that emphasizes that others gained admittance to college based on factors that were outside of the applicant’s control.

I recall a recent Jezebel post mocking uncrustables (frozen pb&js with the crusts cut off) and the people who buy them. I was thrilled to see that the comments section was full of people talking about how awesome they are.

I don’t believe that line for one second. I think it’s the bullshit he tells himself to justify his rage.

I’m sure these “concerned commenters” are JUST as vocal about the fact that Flint still doesn’t have clean water. Or that the government continues to separate children from their parents and hold them in detention camps.

So they are pissed that the kids ate the Oreos that the parents were planning on eating after they went to bed. Got it.

The WORST.

Impolite bordering on dangerous... there are a lot of adjectives that come in-between those two words. Unless you need to justify that your lizard brain goes straight from annoyed to violent.

Dear Kimora and Russell: No she did not. Maybe she would have gotten in if she came from a different family or different parents, assuming the alternate-universe parents could also send her to the same prep schools and enroll her in the same extra-curriculars, and get the same quality recommendation letters.

I just read the synopsis of the Australian film and it is quote different than the Dempsey one! Lover Boy (US) is really a charming story about a young man growing and learning through a brief dalliance in sex work.

For image-obsessed reality stars, they made some pretty terrible shirts. I’m giving Kristin Doute the win on the tee shirt war.

I liked it better the first time when it was called Lover Boy.

Which is the 21st century version of, “I bet it’s that time of the month.”

Prefacing this by saying that both are awful, there’s no winner here.

Mel Gibson is total garbage, but he attacked other adults. This is much worse IMO.

I think it’s less about age and more about someone who can’t deal with what will happen to their world view if they have to look at abusers for what they are. See also: Women who stand by their husband or boyfriend after a child accuses him of abuse.

I would normally never ever make a sweeping comment like I am about to make, but- I feel very confident in saying that I believe that Streisand was abused at some point and the way that she has shoved it down is by constantly telling herself that she must have liked the attention and that she turned out okay, so it’s

Ugh. I am so sorry. Just... ugh. I’m glad you can at least cognitively see how broken she is, but I am sure it still hurts you.

That’s what I expect-- no more federal indictments, but the State of NY is going to pick it up from here.
