I’ve nursed, pumped, and used formula. While I agree that nursing offered up a special form of bonding, pumping meant that my partner could participate in feeding and he could more closely bond with our baby. He could also better support me because he knew he could jump in just as easily for night feedings, outings,…

That’s a myth, thank goodness. 

It’s not selfish to want your body back. We give our bodies over as soon as we’re pregnant (and in many cases, long before when we start trying to get pregnant) and we put ourselves second or third for so long.

Big Pharma makes so much more money off of diabetes medication and anti-aging products that it’s a big stretch to think that there’s a big conspiracy to make money off of flu shots. It’s one shot, once a year. Not a big money maker for them.
