As soon as I saw the pic of University Hall on the sidebar, I was like ‘crap’… Missoula is a great town… but… I live in Missoula and have been rather disturbed by the headlines from the ‘U’ and town over the last few years. Two(?) players were accused of sexual assault but the response seemed a ‘lil slow… after all…
"Montana knows that this story would happen in Missoula if it were to happen anywhere."
It gets up into triple digits in the summer, and in winter... it depends on where in the state you live.
Just a note on the Montana 11 year rule. It is not as simple as '11 years you get to stop paying'. Basically when you go to register, they will say that you car qualifies for 'permenant tags' would you like to get them? If your cost to register is say $67, then the perm. tags would be around $250 (4x registration).…
Fun Fact: Christmas in the Stars features the first professional release by a then unknown Jon Bon Jovi on one track
Not really seeing 'real life manga'. Just a bunch of 'playing with my photo editor'...
OutKast – ATLiens: Back in ’96, a co-worker of mine had this CD and was playing it when he gave me a ride home. I was mesmerized and asked to borrow it. He let me and I don’t know how many times I listened to it over the next two days, but it had to be a good two dozen.
I assume this excludes the post-Tarja albums. This isn't a Pro-Tarja slam against the current lineup, just that the bands feels like a very different band now. As a huge fan of 'Symphonic Metal' I listen to a lots of Nightwish and their contemporaries, and am use to the constant rotation of female singers. I just…
As someone who works in an actual music store (yeah, they still exist), and has heard about half of these albums, I figured I would share my thoughts on a few of these;
Got to second this, the Princess Series is great, and since it has wrapped up, it is not a series you have to wait on the next installment.
No Fez = No Sale!
My '90 Ford Ranger - 150k miles on it over the seventeen years I have owned it.
Take the horns off, and this a a pretty good looking car, from the front and side angle. But dat azz... It is like a bad retro-tribute by a uneducated first year design student. It is just not a Duesenberg, which get you feelin' all weird below the waist. It looks like a Matchbox™ car... actually a bad Chinese…
I assume #2 is only for the current GT/CS? The originals were possibly the first 'special edition' Mustang, and in restored / documented condition are rather valuable. I am shocked that the 'Rainbow of Color' Mustangs did not make it on the list.
That might be a good analogy. I am sure that the original intention was to have them be 'the Skrulls'. But when the Skrulls appeared in Ultimate Fantastic Four, it sorta screwed things up a bit.
There is not 100% certainty that the Chitauri are the UMU counterpart of the Skrulls. The problem is that Reed Richard makes contact with a race called the Skrulls (that looks like the standard green skinned Skrulls) in Ultimate Fantastic Four. These Skrulls acknowledge the Chitauri existence, and it is suggested…
Dreamworks already did that joke with Link in Monsters vs Aliens. Having been locked underground for 50 years, once outside he asks "It a little hotter than I remember. Has the Earth gotten warmer? It would be great to know that... that would be a very convenient truth."
They are actually for the Ultimates comic book, which was the basis for the cartoon. Based on some loose continuity in the UMU, they may or may not be the UMU equivalent of the Skrulls
That was... I feel so... I need some Silly Symphonies just to work those images out of my mind. And a really hot shower and a couple boxes of steel wool...
