I wasn't talking about 'sexualizing' her. Just wondered what a 'hipster' Lilo might look like.

Anastasia = FOX ANIMATION STUDIOS, otherwise, I am totally digging it. Wonder what he would have Lilo look like?

I know it is sorta out of the target area, but how about the ending to the Jim Henson/Disney Dinosaurs? Me and the roommate had a moment of nostalgia and I pulled out the DVDs. He had never seen the final episode and afterwards turned to me and 'That was seriously dark."

I love me Robotech/Macross, I spent over a grand buying all the figures in the Masterpiece Collection. However, to borrow liberally from Charlton Heston, "Take your stinking paws off my childhood, you damned dirty producers!"

I wholeheartedly agree, but that would take years to produce. But that is one show I would definitely watch.

Not true, it is possible, however small, that a Calico can be male. Ask the Doctor, he should be able to do the math.

There are place like that as well. Chances are that the lawns used to be larger back when the area was originally founded in 1866. But they would have been lost to sidewalks, modern sized two lane roads w/ roadside parking. Plus many plots have been subdivided due to the rapid growth in the area. In 1940 the pop

I was expecting something like Galaxy Quest The Series but it sounds like a show I would give a few episode to win me over.

That what was confusing me, since Congo was one of his earlier works. Andromeda Stain is really one of the great thriller fiction. I think the problem with Chrichton was he always changed it up, so you never knew what you would get from one novel to the next.

I actually liked the book, hated the movie. And weren't most of the novels before Congo, more along the typical 'pulp' mystery/crime novels?

Missoula Montana, it mostly affects the neighborhoods around the University.

They do something similar here in town, but they don't 'impound' the car, they simple move it to an open spot several blocks away. The reason being that most of the neighborhoods affected are 'historic' neighborhood that existed long before the proliferation of the automobile and the homes have no garage or driveway.

I have read all the Chrichton books that were made into movies before seeing the movie. Man, is that just a bad idea. See, the movie, then read the book, they always edit out so much.

I read Jurassic Park, finished it the night before the movie came out). It really ruined the first viewing for me. All the missing scenes just had me thinking, 'But what about this part'. I went on a Chrichton spree after that and read The Andromeda Strain, Eaters of the Dead, Congo, The Terminal Man, The Great

I will admit to have been in situations where folks are 'raving' about how epic a book is and not say anything, just to avoid the 'How could you not have read (title)! It is the (adjective) since (other title)! discussions.

None. I have never claimed to have read a book to 'preserve geek cred'. I find it is just easier to say I have never read it than try to not get 'caught in a lie'. I have never read any of the Harry Potter books, only seen the first four movies and know what little I do know from Wikipedia.

well it is also been marketed as 'Re5ident Evil: Retribution', keeping the whole Hollywood replace a letter with the installment number practice alive.

It apparently involves 'flashbacks' so that might be part of it. Might also explain how Michelle Rodriguez is in this one.

Technically, genetically speaking, X-23 is not his kid, she is his 'twin' sister.

Yes, such a program exists, but I am unsure of it's name. I think it is something like Brick Designer...
