@javalsu:I know that was rhetorical but just so its out there, I would say its because Apple knows if they market it better they can eat someone elses cake while keeping their own.

@Dogen: why would constant physical laws imply the existence of God?

@AreWeThereYeti: exactly. Like the time my friend accused me of not having an open mind because I didn't believe a yogi could live off hi qi only, forgoeing food and water for several years.

@javalsu: exactly. I've never even heard of that feature.

@Hami83: I've owned apple products for seven years. I've had to buy one dongle/cable.

Everyones examples of "what already exists" forgets the fact that this requires no setup, works at multiple peoples houses with multiple peoples devices, and only requires a wi-fi network.

@phamm: oh yeah, I got it. I just wanted to reaffirm the seed of truth behind your joke ie I was playing "the straight man". Dont worry I got your back :-) esp cause some commenter said some do live in oil.

@sam-a: not to mention the file size is relatively miniscule.

@Sprzout: I had the same thoughts you did. But then I realized I/you dont have to "convert". Personally I have two classes of books: ones I REALLY want, and ones I don't really care about. I can buy books you REALLY want in paper form, and stuff I just want as an ebook.

@zelannii: True. But why hold out for a one in a million chance at big bucks in a dying industry when you can e-pub? It would be like trying to get a hollywood job instead of trying to go viral on you tube. If you are good and go viral, you will be a star in motion pictures (maybe not at a movie theater though). If

A whole new meaning to "If its yellow let it mellow"

except if you need more than one circumference of tape its going to be notched. Its alot easier just to fold a little tab each time you use it.

@Zonky: I can't do that with Ping or Books. Can you?
