3D is trying to happen. I feel like I know a lot of wealthy people who like tech people, and not a single one has expressed any desire to own 3D equipment. When it comes to movies, we only go to "good" 3D ones.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: the poor signal issue also seems to be a relatively minor problem...People show bars dropping, but I haven't heard of anyone actually complaining of multiple dropped calls or being unable to complete a call at all. My friend has one, it does drop bars...but he has made all his phone calls…
Used my friends last night:
@8oardR1der: one thing that always bugged me is that the volume rocker on the 3Gs did not adjust when you held it in landscape. Pushing the right volume button moved the volume left
@F00fybunny: 30% of your screen isnt black because of the movie, its black because you have the wrong shaped TV.
@Pony Stark: I think its condescending. And hilarious.
@max11221: when you jailbreak, does it just change the wallpaper or do the full "Apple wallpaper" with drop shadows and new animations?
@F00fybunny: why give someone the option to make their phone run slow so they can have a wallpaper?
the best part of the vuvuzela is that the longer it is used, the more annoying it gets, so you might as well join in. Its like a snowball of annoyance that you must join or lose to. Kind of like a meme that is so overused it becomes funny again.
@belsunce: you mean a phone that cost 200 dollars that you bought with no promise or idea that it would ever have or could have a wallpaper?
@EljhHck: this is true. I would be happy if I was Steve Job and people emailed me with valid complaints and questions. I would be very unhappy if I was in his unfortunate situation where people are emailing me with stupid questions, like why can't my phone handle backgrounds when, A) they have been using it just fine…
@A.Jaswal: It was blasting air backwards. My TV stand is a low bookshelf, so electronics sit on the top shelf with about 4 inches behind them and nothing on the left. I bought it two years ago, put it next to the TV and it RROD'd after I beat my first game, GoW. I just returned it to Costco and got a PS3 so I could…
Look trolls, we all know the Xbox overheats when you put it in cramped quarters, and that many people do that. However, there is obviously a bigger problem since I cannot remember a serious "overheating" recall issue on the scale and repetition of RROD from the: PS2, PS3, Wii, Any DVD player, computers kept under…
@A.Jaswal: Mine was on the top shelf next to the TV and died
please god no. Soccer is the last sport devoid of tech. Its fluid. The clock keeps running. Its all human (or mostly). Referees are the FINAL word, not some replay. The ball designs are bad enough...
I am convinced its just a cash grab for a) new balls for the public and b) screw with the teams defense/offense to make "crazy plays" to drum up news and interest.
@DeadWriter: My understanding of the description is you can't work on a clip, save it, then transfer to iMovie and resume editing.
Yes, because anytime a Middle Eastern country has a natural resource that is essential to the global economy, things turn out SO well for them.
@I see the light. It burns!: good point! this is probably an excellent, if cruel, way to repel pesty animals too.
another problem 3D faces: while home and public TVs can easily be made HD, bar and public TVs can't...unless everyone want to walk around with 3D glasses, the bar wants to rent them, or everyone wants to watch 3D at weird viewing angles
