Neutral: I don't get what is so great about Crossovers, really. To me, they are the most illogical creations on the road; and they are EVERYWHERE. First, it is in essence a lifted station wagon. They don't have the payload of larger SUVs, sometimes even seating capacity, so I find it more akin to the wagon. However,…
Precisely, plus early footage where the Fords are in close pursuit of the buggy and the buggy does a drive-by and the Fords are nowhere to be found.
Diamonds are Forever was so bad special effects-wise that it has even another. The Moon Buggy chase was so fake. Even if they aren't meant for offroading, those 1971 Fords should not just disintegrate whenever they hit something. Plus, that moon buggy should not be out-running anything.
Thanks for the tip!
Neutral: If I'm buying a small American small car today, it would likely be the Fiesta ST because of how bonkers it seems (have yet to drive one). I test drove the Cruze when it came out because my local Chevy dealer was trying to buy back Cobalts for their used car lot. It was a nice little car, albeit nothing overly…
I'll take that MR2 over there.
To each his own. By no means do I think it is an awful vehicle and I see enough of them and the road to know that people do like them. My biggest complaint is that the overall quality of the car seemed cheap, specifically on lower trim models. I didn't own the truck I drove, but I was it's primary driver and had a not…
Drove one as a work vehicle (Canyon) for about a year and a half. Brand new when I got it. The ride was choppy and the plastic interior rattled a bunch. It did it's job and had good utility, but the truck itself sucked.
I got nothin'. These are all just too great.
The old Colorado and sister vehicle Canyon were shitty, cheaply made pick-ups that pretty much upgraded the fleet vehicles of your local utility company. There was nothing particularly good about them, other than fill a need for a mid-sized pick-up. They even looked cheap. At least this model looks handsome, and I'm…
Those BRZ cheerleader outfits sure are splendid!
Are we talking about non-car people or straight up morons?
I think it has to be a Corvette, just because the Corvette isn't so much a car in the States as it is a culture. It's shape and styling is unmistakable. People will always be able to identify a Corvette even if they have no clue what other offerings Chevrolet has on their product line, if they even know that the…
My brother is a numbnuts behind the wheel mostly because he doesn't pay attention. He drives a dirt cheap 2002 Cavalier. The car has been rear-ended more than twice, the car has been attempted to be stolen, sits in the driveway without gas for weeks at a time because he's broke, tie-rods have been severed twice, and…
Interesting. Only ever rented a car once after my car got hit from behind. Got it from my local Enterprise in town. It had 13K on the odometer and still had that new car smell. I guess I was lucky?
I rather like this. I have a soft spot for long-hood cars of the '80s. That being said, the car appears in excellent condition, both inside and out. Good logs of maintenance and visible signs of good upkeep. It's not fast, and the automatic is a bit of a turn-off, but the fact that this car is 30 years old and has 45K…
I believe the Chevrolet SS will be an excellent car, the only thing that I think will hinder its success is the lack of options—a sunroof being the only one. It makes the price nearly non-negotiable at around $45K, which is over $15K more than the starting price of its predecessor, the G8. There is no entry level or…
