I think as demand for gas drops, investment in R&D in it dwindles, reducing supply.  Prices may remain stable, but in the long run they should go up as the old curmudgeons hunt for the last drops.

This is where dealers actually make a difference, because once someone drives an EV, they have an ‘oh shit this is awesome and my ICE shitbox sucks in comparison’ moment and their mind can be changed.

Considering NYCs speed limit is for the most part 25 mph, a regular e-bike (28 mph) is just as good as the LiveWire. Best thing? On most, you can take the battery inside your home to charge it.
