Yes, sub-10 minute runs used to be pretty mythical, but that was the old Pike’s Peak when it still had dirt sections. Now that it’s 100% paved, 10 minutes is more easily obtainable. Regardless, 10 minutes is still crazy fast!

You are correct about Geauga Lake. I used to go there several times every year growing up and it sucks Cedar Fair closed it. The Big Dipper is the only roller coaster still standing.
Yes 9K for a used Prius is more affordable, but there still will be people that can’t afford that. Also, 50mpg isn’t all that great considering there are non-hybrid 4 cylinders out today that get 40+. A Prius still requires gas, so you can’t rely on hybrids to phase out gas. It’s a good starting point though.
There’s no way gas and coal will be 100% phased out in 10 years. I doubt it will be ever be phased out, at least not in our lifetime. What do you think is going to happen to the millions of gasoline cars on the road today? Do you think they’re just going to head to the junk yard and get scrapped? Most people can’t…
