I seem to recall reading a domestic theater release and then a release on Netflix which confused me, but this seems to imply perhaps only the Netflix release is international or that the international release will only be on Netflix. Still imagine it will have a domestic theater release.

So, I was served Puffin at a private home in Iceland many years ago. It tasted like a cross between duck in texture and an oily fish, like mackerel. A bit of a livery bite as well. It was prepared smoked and sliced thin. I was not a fan. That’s what Porgs taste like to me.

Going to clean up Assassin’s Creed Origins, I really don’t want this game to end. Still trying to get into Battlefront 2, but I just can’t. Might try a mission or two however. I have Breath of Wild ready to start and tried to do this today while my car was getting tuned up, but they were done in 30 minutes so I really

We have some mutual friends and I have met her a few times. She is super nice and down to earth. I said in a few weeks you’re not going to be able to walk down the street without being stopped. I’m sure she’s not ready for this. And no, she couldn’t get me into the premiere. So I guess she’s not *that* nice. I joke.

So I started playing this over the weekend - campaign mode only thus far- and I’ve decided it’s not a very good game.

Trying to finish AC Origins. Received a Switch this week for my birthday with Mario Odyssey and Zelda which has remained unopened since I’ve been so busy. Also was given Battlefront 2 this week which hasn’t been touched yet either. I’m slacking.

Also helps my wife studied Egyptology in college so she’ll walk into the study and then we get side-tracked over how accurate they recreated certain locations. She even started her own game - which is a first for her.

I’m kind of saving Zelda for the week between Xmas and New Years when I’ll be up in our cabin and hopefully snowed in for a few blissful days... For AC I’ve been looking at the level for the next main story mission and doing every side mission up to that level, doing the main story mission, and then repeating the

I’ve been playing daily since launch and am at level 38 but have still not finished the game - assuming I’m close to the end though. I still have 6 or 7 regions I haven’t unlocked yet and just last night unlocked one to find a huge gleaming city down in the valley below me with 5 or 6 mission icons... so there is a

Haha. He even borrows some surgical gloves and a little face mask I use when I cut wood when we’re hitting up some of the bigger places. The dirtier the place the better the finds, he says. I used to manage a record store, so I’m more than happy to spend a few hours flipping through vinyl.

Yeah, I always include this one on Songs with Great Lyrics “mixtapes.” Simple, evocative, and when you sit down with it and really listen to it, man, it’s a heart breaker.

A new record shop opened in my neighborhood this weekend and my son got a new turntable for his 8th birthday earlier this month so he wanted to flip through the stacks to find some albums. He found Illinoise in the $3 pile (awesome find) and has been playing it all week. We had a copy already but he wanted one of his

Black and White one with the stagecoaches/carriages? I think that’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

All I can say, Japanese toilets are the bomb. When we bought our last house, it had a very nice high tech Toto Washlet installed. I laughed. I used it. I fell in love. We sold our house (to a Japanese couple) and they insisted on leaving the toilet. We actually negotiated for a week over it. Money talks. Our new house

Geralt is a solid pick. Going to go with Rost from Horizon Zero Dawn however.

My son loves this show. I sat down to watch it with him and I fell in love with this show. My, wife, Mrs. anti-tv, came in to admonish us for watching too much tv, and fell in love with this show.

Weird. Read this and a second later got an email she is in town tonight. So, if you’re in San Diego, come support Alice Glass at the Observatory tonight. It’s free.

The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Dammit.

I saw her a few years ago at Comic Con and started chatting with her. She is super nice. We walked to a booth together and recommended comic books to each other. I still think she is one of the best writers writing today. And I told her that.

So my son has a friend at school. Nice kid. We like him lots. And he’s over a lot. Likes the quiet of our house, the food, most days he’s sitting on my son’s bed and the two of them spend the day reading - I mean 4 or 5 hours of them just sitting around and talking books. And for two 8 year old boys, that’s pretty
