So this is like a Holiday Tradition now right?

Jason it’s December 2(3)rd and Steam goes down... coincidence? Get woke people!

Well if youtubers are being paid on views and youtube is messing with views that is something that should be looked into. For all we know youtube is skimming off the top.

Real life lawyer here.

I thought it was serviceable. Decent enough for a video game movie, though there was no heart to it. It did have to do the unenviable job of establishing a lot of exposition and set-up. But it feels like a good starting point for the franchise, if it manages to get off the ground after this and gets a sequel. They

I’ll be straight with you, so do I(or at least, I should be in the next year). But it’s pointless talking to people who already intent on hating on things that doesn’t cater to their liking.

Then why are you posting a link to a widely mocked video?

You paid money for that??? Should have gone for something...you know...useful.

Have we laypeople not learned to keep quiet about color grading yet?

It’s definitely a hoax

I can’t be the only one a tad skeptical about this, right? Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of reason to believe this story, but I hear “YouTube star famous for pranks” and I start to question it just a little.

“YouTube Star”?

“Delta”?

*yawn* next. :click:

Not when it’s prime meat.

Is there any follow up on how the rest of his 24 hours went?

I’ve been waiting for this one...

I have always admired the way they thought Tolkien out for themselves rather than just copy Jackson. The thing is it would take 5-10 years to develop another Middle Earth MMO with that much depth and no one has that kind of money anymore.

I wish it had been more popular so it could get some graphic overhauls. Of all the stuff in the game, thats the only thing that has aged horribly. The world is best imagining of Tolkien’s work, the game actually had content for groups size 2 and up, and the classes had a llot of fun stuff to em.

LOTRO is my favorite MMO. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to play months in the past few years due to college. I will be very sad when it shuts down.

“Turbine is transitioning into a free-to-play, mobile development studio, and as a result we are eliminating some positions,”

So you mean in 4 months or so it’ll be announced LotR: Online will be shutting servers down in 12 months time.
