This is funny because I sold my Sportster specifically because I’m a millennial who isn’t in a city*. I loved that bike but it just wasn’t enough on the open roads, if I lived in town there’s no way I would have gotten rid of it.

Obviously different places will be different but my local dealer is awesome. Prices are all hanging on the bars, the salesmen were never pushy, they let me test ride a new bike even after I told them flat out I was just there to kill time and couldn’t afford a new bike, they put on tons of awesome events for any type…
There’s a few few comments about the Harley “lifestyle” so I’m gonna weigh in on that, and use a bunch of terms that I hate. Right now, the way I see it at least, there are 3 main types of lifestyle associated with Harley. The poser dentist lifestyle, the hardcore Harley lifestyle, and the hipster Harley lifestyle. As…
As a “millennial” (I hate being associated with that term) who’s very into riding I would love to support HD, but with student loans and an acreage to save for, a new bike is out of the question, especially a HD. Even though I lust after a Street Bob, or Lowrider S, it just isn’t in the cards. A used Harley would be…
Not for my wife, she won’t touch anything sweet (sweets actually taste bad to her). She likes to bake though which is both a good thing and a bad thing. It’s a good thing because I love sweets and I get to eat all of them, it’s a bad thing because if I do eat all of them before they go bad I get fat.
Cam phaser lock out kits are already available and fairly cheap, and the spark plug problem isn’t that big of a problem, especially if the plugs are installed correctly, and if not repair kits aren’t that bad. As much as I like my 2V, all of that is still much cheaper than swapping one in, and the 3V is still the…
IMO t-shirts are fine, and usually a baseball cap is fine as well so long as neither are from some pretentious brand. Motorcycle shirts/hats are much more acceptable than automotive shirts/hats as well.
I couldn’t count the number of times I’ve ridden my Harley with a Truimph/Norton/Honda/Indian t-shirt on, or my Yamaha with a Harley t-shirt. No one has ever given me a hard time, the worst thing that’s ever happened is someone asking if I owned one of the bikes from the t-shirt I had on, I tell them no, but I’d love…
Honestly who cares? I honestly couldn’t count the number of times I’ve ridden my Harley with a Triumph/Norton/Honda/Indian(gasp!) t-shirt on, or my Yamaha with a Harley t-shirt, no one has ever given me a hard time, and if someone does, screw em. Just because I don’t own a Triumph/Indian etc. doesn’t mean I can’t like…
For some reason I feel like motorcycle shirts are different than automotive shirts. I’ll be damned if I ever buy a Ford/Chevy/insert car brand/model here shirt, but I’ll wear pretty much any motorcycle shirt you throw at me. I own several motorcycle shirts for bikes that I’ve never owned, or no longer own, Indians,…
Did you?
welded the cage to a steel plate (which the main hoops of the roll cage are welded to) and then used the same type of stuff that held the Space Shuttle together to bond that steel plate to an aluminum plate welded to the chassis.
I’ve always loved vehicles that stand out, whether it be from modifications or paint colors, and don’t understand why someone would want to be so anonymous. My daily F-150 is a bright metallic teal color, official named Island Blue and I absolutely love it. I’ve loved it since I was 10 years old (was dad’s truck…
South Dakota driver, +1
Couple of wrong answers there, but everyone makes mistakes.
Why not? Sure Cobalts are terrible little cars, but they’re stupid cheap and fairly reliable. Most of them (if not all of them) have been fixed by now, and if they haven’t just don’t put a bunch of weight on the key. By no means is the Cobalt a great car, but I wouldn’t turn someone away from one. Hell, I’m thinking…
Haven’t heard anything about accidents, I suspect they’re nearly the same. As for enforcement, I don’t doubt that it increased a little, but if it did it’s hardly noticeable, if at all. There is a very noticeable increase of people going over 80 mph though and I’m not sure why.
Funny enough, when SD raised their interstate speed limits to 80 mph tickets actually increased.
When it comes to shotguns lead is so much more likely to take down a bird quickly and cleanly than steel is, one of my favorite hunting guns is also old enough that shooting steel will ruin the barrel. I don’t use that gun a lot, but when I do I have to shoot lead.
I’ve seen a few of these before and I want to import one so bad.
