Sitting here looking at how much money I’ve spent on cars the last few years and wondering why I didn’t just restromod a classic Z instead.  I mean, the other cars were totally worth it, but the Z is a timeless beauty~

Just got back from my doctor’s appointment. I am now officially not allowed to drive anymore as they are putting me on constant, higher strength pain meds. There is a debate as to whether to continue my chemo or not. Newest scan shows progression, so I am now considered a terminal cancer patient.

Paul Clark’s finished/buttoned up 2JZ Saturn Sky seems to be making the rounds on Facebook, especially after 1320 shared some pictures. Oppo thoughts on a 2JZ Sky? His build is tempting me to go out and buy a trashed Sky and use all my leftover 2JZ parts from the MK4 to build something similar. More pics:

Washed both roadsters today, as it’s been a beautiful string of days lately in San Diego. The girlfriend is currently claying the MX-5 while I take a quick break, and then I’ll tackle waxing it. Claying and wax for the 124 can wait since it’s still relatively nice from the dealer. Hoping to take them both out later…

Nice try, Ford. You can try to kill the Miata but it will always be the answer. Also happens to be the answer for the quickest turn around time for repairs and being at the body shop. Love this car, especially the paint - Ceramic Metallic is beautiful.
