Witchers. The first Witcher short story came out in 1986 and The Witcher 1, the video game, came out in 2007, two years before Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age took a lot of cues from The Witcher, including the Grey Wardens’ Trial and the status of elves as an oppressed minority.
Of all the witchers only Geralt has white hair; he lost his pigmentation when some extra strong mutagens got tested on him. And for some reason in The Witcher 1 they forgot to give cat eyes to other witchers. They fixed that omission in TW2 and TW3, however.
you should atleast read The Last Wish as there are tons of references to this book throughout the series.
Sony did this with PS3s to an extent. Once your console is banned online it’s banned forever. If you use your account and email on a new PS3 that PS3 will be banned too.... Sony is significantly worse as they make the consoles and future consoles with that account unusable
These guys could have done this fives years ago on a 360 and had the same thing happen. They broke an NDA. This is not the same as “My name was inappropriate, microsoft made my xbox explode”
Didn’t read the article did you?
“All-digital is the future! Anyone who has concerns over an always-online system and DRM policies that curb consumer rights is obviously an ignorant Luddite.”
The line for crow stew forms over there.
Auto-playing videos WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!? FUCK!
You know what, I rarely use the youtube feature on the Wii U, but that’s one of the few(less then 20) videos I’ve watched on my Wii U. I am now a bit suspicious they just checked what the most watched videos through their consoles were.
Meh, people do a lot of story videos and machima. I doubt many people are watching straight gameplay.
Is that the same kid?!
Obligatory “Not Bad” gif
But that’s the subscription model. And thinking from a younger player’s perspective? They can’t necessarily afford $15/month.
The worst part of League is when you build out particular champions with runes only to have them nerfed multiple times in succession. When they “improved” the jungle, it effectively rendered most of the line-up in my possession useless, and that was the last straw for me.
In all of the FTP games I’ve played, I consistently encounter one thing: that line between “theoretically” and actually being able to play a game without dropping real-world currency is pretty thick.
When I was 11 years old. I went to the official Nintendo Pokemon League Mall Tour...thingy. I wrote about it a little bit here.
Oh, I was a “best man” at an Everquest wedding circa 2001. The “groom” was already married in RL, and his ‘bride’ was not his RL wife. He said his character was “in love” with his bride, not his real self.
