In my 3 weeks with both vehicles, I averaged 24.3-25.1 mpg from the Challenger and 23.9-25.2 mpg from the Charger.

Highway matters when you’re commuting to and from work on the highway.

Eh, the Hellcat Charger/Challenger easily pull high 20s out on the highway despite what “EPA estimates” claim.

Well sure, if you only go by EPA estimates.

Real world, a Hellcat Charger will easily pull 25-27 mpg cruising on the highway, as will a Hellcat Challenger. I got the joy of driving one of each for a few weeks, oddly enough, if you drive them like a regular car, they get wonderful economy.
