My family consisting of me, my partner, and our four cats, cares DEEPLY about the Russia issue.

i hear you, but based on that i have to imagine we do not have the same level of cramps.... a heating pad for me would be like splitting my head open and putting on a band aid. :(

Oh man, I had a stomach lining infection and a few months after treatment I took an Excedrin Migraine and about keeled over. Killed my stomach. No more aspirin for me.

Haha seriously. There’s also the anticipation / fear of what my cramps do eventually turn into - like the first day of my period is uncomfortable and sort of painful, but I can live. But, having had my period for 20 years now, I KNOW what days 1.5 - 2.5 will bring, and it’s like I’m just trying to prevent that

Can confirm. I took it for cramps that I would never take anything for now. I had been led to believe that I needed to take something the minute any sort of pain came on (I never had the really bad kind). I also took it for sinus headaches, regular headaches, and later for back pain. Then one day I felt super

Yeah, I think people need to read up on over-use of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. They can be so hard on the body over time. I didn’t really know about side-effects from long-term use until I was a parent and the guidelines changed for dosing kids.

Yeah, I lived in New York City, friend. And I have yet to receive a satisfactory explanation as to why anyone would continue to live there.

It’s a doorman building with security and cameras. You can easily figure out where most celebrities live around NYC if you’d really like to. Some of those places are townhouses with even less security. She’s not exactly a celebrity many people would care about.

The Jezebel commentary adds context to the societal issue, but the actual interview is just diet and exercise talk. When you talk about how much you love your body and then claim OLIVES are a vice? Come on now.

This is a super important point that I wish was part of the discussion in the interview. My problem is that she talks about accepting herself while appearing on a cover that advertises losing weight and dieting. That’s on the magazine.

Yep, and I do read those from time to time. I don’t mean to imply that I read Shape - or any other “health” magazine for women or otherwise. This article just reminds me why I cut off that shit when I was a teenager.

“A good friend of mine, Tracee Ellis Ross. . . “

I’m a big proponent of body positivity, but these hyperbolic statements where a thin person talks about how much they’ve struggled being slightly less thin than other thin people drive me nuts.

She and Jerry Stiller were the only reasons King of Queens was watchable. She’s funny. Kevin James is a dolt.

That’s a British face if I’ve ever seen one.

I wouldn’t limit to age, but more powerful, sportier car should require a special driving license. It doesn’t make sense that the same license that is valid to a Toyota Yaris is valid to a Ferrari 488 or a Porsche Turbo S.

My boyfriend drove for uber for almost 2 years, and I can confirm that is not true in the least. The average driver drives under 15 hours a week.... which ~ equivalent to a 2 day work week. He worked retail 4 days a week and fit in uber hours whenever he had time. Between the 2 jobs, he paid off over $20k debt he’d

Well, it’s working so far. I’ve made great progress on my student loans since I started contracting. What would you recommend?

Sorry your comment does not apply to the atmosphere created by those who want things handed to them.

I don’t understand the vendetta against contractors. I drive for Postmates, which isn’t quite the same thing, but works in much the same way. Every night after work I go out and drive 3-4 hours. It’s extremely easy. It’s even fun. And thanks to the fact that my college degree is utterly useless (SURPRISE!),
