your right, nothing to do with skyrim, its a problem with windows, you can look it up. Never had it in 7, but starting with 8 I get it almost constantly... That being said... I still prefer 8.1 over 7...so... shrug

I had 1 rrod in the my time with the xbox 360 (6-7 years?) and in that same time I have had 4 broken hardrives, a cracked laptop body, a burnt out cpu and a broken fan on PC...

no as in for no apparent reason, disk is reporting 100% in task manager and bogging down the system.

last I checked both the 360 and ps3 ran skyrim... and really? so how do you fix the 100% disk issue on windows?

I do none of those things, and have an nvidia card, I can honestly say consoles (at least the previous gen) are why more hassle free than pc...
