Yes, I would be less harsh on Robin Curtis. For one, Saavik's character really didn't have an arc in TSFS- she was just there to babysit the "emerging Spock" and her involvement in TVH is eclipsed by a good two dozen other actors who had more lines and screentime. For shame.

@Stephen Mark Monteith: I think Christian Bale proves that an English actor can lose an accent very effectively for the purposes of a superhero film. I doubt Cavill will keep his native accent. Warner's is in the "picture business" and they will do everything to make this film conform to American tastes.
