This discussion especially sad because we won’t ever see true door-to-door autonomous cars anyway. No manufacturer will bear the burden of multiple wrongful death lawsuits,. so they’ll have to max out at “assisted cruise control” levels, and stop/go traffic settings that max out at 15 mph, or so.
