They can’t wait and leave that much money on the table. Copy/paste an existing drivetrain, add a body kit, and VOILA, $20k profit margin!

Listings will start at $100k I’m sure.

I should have qualified with most. I would think most people that are living out of their vehicles for weeks every year have customized vehicles. The marketing team at GM that cooked this up is targeting yuppies that might use it a few times a year.

People that do this are so hollowed out by consumerism that the satisfaction from buying the shit probably exceeds their enjoyment of the hobby itself.

“If you spend enough time living out of your vehicle.” That’s the kicker. People that buy factory “overlanders” aren’t living out of their vehicles. They’re taking their kids to lacrosse practice and camping once a year at a commercial campground you could access with a Civic.

Overlanding” vehicles are such hypercapitalist nonsense. It’s just car camping. Just buy a used SUV and $1000 of camping gear. Entire family is good to go.

Not really at all the comparison. I had to google him. He’s won multiple Olympic gold medals and was charged with stabbing a woman.

That’s unfair to Rodman. He was an NBA All Star with a wild personal life. But he always delivered on the court. Sha’Carri is on her way to becoming the next Azealia Banks.

Formula 1 Everyone Is Making This Up As It Goes

They should’ve done a clean sheet redesign like they did with the 240, 260, and 280! You wouldn’t even know they were built by the same company. Now I’ll never buy a new one.

Great review. I really like this car. New styling, interior, and engine are a big step forward over the previous gens. It nails the simple sports coupe formula.

I didn’t say Callum is a Karen. He’s entitled to his opinion as a racing driver. I think it’s a Karen perspective to think the FIA should take an immediate course of action based on one (or a few) driver’s opinion. To plagiarize myself, let’s not “disregard the team of experts at the FIA that think about safety all

I didn’t say that at all. What I said is that in the Karenverse, we disregard the team of experts at the FIA that think about safety all the time, assume they’re evil money-grubbers that want drivers to die or something, and take action on whatever a rookie driver thinks is “safer” regardless of benefit or cost.

My point is why do you assume the opinion of one driver (who’s understandably emotional after Jack’s crash) is correct? Genuine question. I’m sure the FIA is constantly weighing hundreds of proposals to make changes to every track.

Did you consider that Callum is wrong? That perhaps the barriers are placed appropriately and it’s just an inherently dangerous complex? Not making light of accidents. But this is one young driver’s opinion on a topic that has been discussed by hundreds of people for years.

I’m starting to worry about him lol.

Lewis was 2nd overall in his rookie season, beating his teammate—a 2-time WDC. He then won the WDC the following year in one of the most competitive seasons ever.

You listed a random selection of WDCs that you think might be as good or better than Lewis: Vettel, Schumacher, Senna, Prost, Stewart, Hunt, early Kimi, Keke, Lauda.

This is how F1 has always been. Senna won his three WDCs in a McLaren that was overwhelmingly dominate. In 1988 McLaren took 1st or 2nd (often both) in every race but 1. In 1992 he finished 4th. 1993 was a weird year because of the FW-15C but he managed 2nd. Yet many see him as the “definite GOAT”. Lewis also won in

Americans increasingly celebrate losing and mediocrity.
