Yeah, it was good, it just kind of fell apart in the end.

So spot on, and you can see that mentality in these people all the time.

Well we could repeal the federal ban on gun violence research for starters. Perhaps with some numbers and a public advocacy campaign, similar to the successful ones we’ve employed for smoking, seat belts, etc., we could do something to curb the myth that guns in the home make people safer. As a society, if we can’t

I’m surprised that people don’t remember Ikea furniture lines, tbh. Most of the big ones that people have in their homes have fairly simple to remember names: Malm, Expedit, Lack, Billy... I can see maybe Arkelstorp or something. But the best park of Ikea furniture is the fun name.

Ok with Peaky Blinders finished and no sign of new Poldark yet, I’ll give it a go.

As an apartment dweller who decades ago learned it was easier to buy flatpack and throw it away when you move than attempt to buy nice stuff and hope it makes the journey in one piece, I can tell you every piece of furniture sold contained a strap and drywall anchor for the purposes of attaching said furniture to the

I bolt them in. It’s is super effing easy. They give you a kit with a wall anchor and a strap that connects to the chest of drawers. Then it doesn’t tip over.

Anyway, since Warren has admitted what she was told by her family wasn’t true, what would be the point of her taking a DNA test?

As a fellow Oklahoman (and one who grew up in a house two blocks away from where Senator Warren went to highschool), I don’t get what the issue here is. There are lots of white people here with Native American ancestry who look like Elizabeth Warren, including me and the current principal chief of the Cherokee Nation.

“She’s not Native American, she’s not 1/32nd, she has no Native American background, except for what her family told her,”

That's for another edition of Really Horrible White Ladies.

And don’t say they have “rhythm."

This needs to be added to the “White people: do not ever say this to/about black people” list:

Hahahah you’re totally right. I have heard so many stories from people who have been at eating at restaurants when Wendy came striding in with her horrible children and treated servers terribly. The worst part is that she is now doubly as popular thanks to her hoardes of apologists.

Well-meaning people don’t want to use it in my experience. Only people trying to justify their own racism under the guise of the more acceptable concept of “fairness.”

A yinzer second to this. Fuck Wendy Bell and her bullshit Facebook posts.

Agreed. Major second hand embarrassment from a fellow yinzer.

As a Pittsburgher, this woman is completely infuriating. She had been posting holier-than-thou Facebook posts for a very long time prior to this incident, and I was happy that the station finally took action after this horribly racist and excruciating post.

He called her dad before, when he went outside. I guess maybe her dad might have asked for time to call the family? But more than not saying her name, he made it sound like her fault and that if any prisoner said otherwise, they were lying. That’s just unforgivable.

So wait, is the hush money why he was never charged with child pornography then? How did police just find this evidence for the trial and do nothing with it?
