We all had a Mr. Krevis. Did he ever hand you guys one of those tests with quadrants and you found out you were a libertarian?

I think what people expect is for an app to NOT attempt to objectively critique one’s driving “skill”/ability/safety (and then send on to insurance companies) based on quite subjective metrics as “hard braking” and “aggressive acceleration”.

I really like the look of that thing, let me guess, 80K$

I know, part of me is jealous, if this was a viable career option when I was 12 years old, I would have ended up being a multi-millionaire. Or dead.

I’m not sure that giving them a big block of titanium and a trashed car will help their nutrition.

And this is why you’ll never find me on TikTok. Ok, and the rampant misinformation put out there by “influencers” who don’t know their backs from their fronts. This is some real pointless garbage.

Doing this destructive shit for clicks...I’m so over it and I wish it wasn’t possible for someone to earn a living this way.

a coupe of people

everyone who was down on the ground got back up fairly quickly, which means they probably were too badly hurt.

I mean New Jersey pretty much says it all.

Hmmm... if that’s the case this is probably actual fraud.

Nobody deserves to be taken advantage of, PERIOD. Your attitude is what scammers use to justify their shitty amoral practices.

I’m surprised no one mentioned that the state sales tax in NJ is 6.625%. Where in the hell did this crook get 8.88%??? Did he think it would bring the buyer good luck?

I give you Sheehy Lexus in Annapolis, MD... Last week my mother went looking for an RX350h and they flat out refused to remove the charge. The reasoning “Well, it’s already on the car!”

Ever driven a DIY EV with a manual? It’s the most unsatisfying boring gear change you can imagine. There’s no real change in power or sound. The motor RPM just drops so you don’t explode your old brushed warp 9 motor.

Lol, what would get this enthusiast into an EV would be a small, quick coupe that doesn’t weigh 4500 lbs and doesn’t cost six figures.

No one is buying manuals. The people who are, are not looking to buy an EV.

Not to be outdone, Ford has filed a patent for a new type of crank start in the nose of the car.

to be fair, I don’t even like Paddle shifting. They’re fun on the track, but I can’t get into using them on the street outside of if I want to downshift to hear noises. A nicely tuned dual clutch system that matches your driving style is all you need and I’m a big advocate for manuals.

Second vote. There’s no transmission. You don’t need any extra bits that do exactly nothing. And how is driving an EV boring?  The acceleration is as addictive as any other drug.

Will this replace the Niro EV then? Frankly I don’t see how the brand can support them both. The Niro starts at almost $40k and only gets 250 miles of [EPA estimated] range on its only batter option.
