What a waste of resources. That 205 kWh battery could be used to make three 5-passenger family cars, with almost 300 miles of range a piece, in a more aerodynamic and lighter body.

The BMW turn signal thing genuinely baffles me, not because of how they work but because how people are so clueless. I get if it takes a couple of days/weeks to get it, but you own the car. You need to be completely obtuse to truly not learn your car over years of ownership. And they always bring up lane changes but…
most cars both driver and passenger have their own and if you drive anything other than a bmw it feels silly
came here to say the same thing. zero research
Sigh....
The heads up display for sure should be on every car by now. Stow and Go seating is also a good one.
No matter what you think of the truck or anyone who buys them, yelling profanities at him, giving the guy the finger and spitting on/scratching his property makes you as bad if not worse of a person.
And yet what are the main cars you see at slide shows? a C10, a Mustang, charger, and occasional corvette. =)
So, by that logic, would that mean the 1986 Pontiac 6000 STE was 18.5x better than the 1986 BMW 325i?
That’s just scratches from their gigantic vape mod that never leaves their hand unless it’s to adjust their flat brim hat.
“Now it’s basically just an S4 with a body kit and a bunch of bolt-ons”
That is a hard, hard pass. Absolutely no freaking way. I’m not saying the seller needs to drop the ‘2', but I’m not saying they shouldn’t either.
Once they deviated from the Series+displacement for regular models and M+Series for performance models, I kinda lost the plot.
Sadly, this is probably for the best. I have a BMW X5 PHEV. It is adorned with various conflicting monikers and trademarks, including “xDrive45e,” “Electrified By i”, “iDrive” and “eDrive.”
It’s definitely a bit silly nearly 50 years on to still be calling out that you’re using injectors instead of a carburetor.
This reminds me, I spotted this week my first (as far as I can remember) i8 roadster. Less than 4,000 were made. I see the hardtops every now and then.
The first use of the “i” was the “jellybean” iMac of the late 1990s. The “i” was meant to signify the internet-ready design of the computer. This was around the time the internet really started to become common (pre-wifi days, if you can imagine that!).
I got really annoyed when I was at a BMW dealership and a salesperson described the first number not as the platform, but as the level of “niceness”
Seriously. Why pay more for less?
More like, “i don’t know what i am doing, so i bought an Apple product”
