Baffling for sure. That Jackie Chan “why” meme sums up my thoughts better then I could ever put into words.

Not bad, but pretty unintuitive.
I thought Bricking a system ment it would not turn on at all, and was completely unusable. Is my understanding wrong, or are some people claiming Anthem is out right bricking the system, and not just making you have to “hard reset” it by unplugging it?
Hm, yeah I could go for another Spliter Cell game.
I tried this a few times. Everytime I would land, find nothing, and then get killed by someone with a gun. I've stopped going to the hot spots.
They are not fun, and one slip, or wrong move is one shot kill, or close to it, with anything other then a Colossus.
I feel like it’s just one of those things that you can’t really get a feel for until the game is out. So many games fall into the same pit falls, that it just seems like a right of passage at this point. Surely there is a real reason why so many studio’s end up doing this kind of thing.
Oh man, I didn't even think about grabbing a train for him. I'll have to try that.
When they seem interested and want to do it themselves. Don’t force it at all. I knew my son was ready when I paused my game and went to the kitchen to get a drink. I then herd the grunting of Kratos from the living room and peaked in to find him sitting on the sofa pushing buttons on the controller. Now he will ask…
More monkeys = better.
Or you could just not play the online until it’s done, or till you feel it is in a more playable state. Hell, if you waited long enough you could maybe even just get the whole game for less then $60.
I feel like alot of it is the “If I like it, then you have to like it” view point. People seemingly want absolutes for everything. It must be good or bad. Right or wrong. Surely different people can’t have different feelings about the same thing, or something can’t both do something good, and bad.
Is... that a thing?
I’ve found the game pretty fun. Now to be fair, I haven’t had any technical issues, which seems to put me in the minority, and I wasn’t coming into this expecting an amazing story. I also have very little play time with other loot shooters, so I’m not coming into it already burnt out.
Right, I get that. But the question still remains, what’s the trade off here? Everyone has their own special ability, it’s not like just the big characters get one to off set their size. And everyone has a chance to get the same weapons and armor. All of the things that would normally come with a larger character like…
I’m not asking for normalized hit boxes.
Wait, doesn’t the game come out and say some people run slower in the little tutorial, or character discriminations?
Iv read the shield isn't actually as effective as you'd think.
Does Team Fortress 2 count?
All of those lore questions are in the journal. It’s a lot like Mass Effect 1, where you could go to the menu and a narrator would read all of this informations about every little detail about the world. Only this time, you have to read it yourself.
