I would have an Evoque Convertible in a heartbeat I wasn’t so afraid of JLR reliability.
Hype costs you nothing.
The color is good. Power is good. Wheels are good. Bespoke exhaust is good.
It’s $1000.00 more than a comparably equipped Mustang GT.
Ummm, nobody is stopping you from ordering a standard Mustang.
Love it. The car looks best without the spoiler, the color is awesome, and I am of the opinion that 5 spokes are the perfect number of spokes.
Considering the driving skill of the average American, who can’t even figure out lane discipline, wipers-on-lights - on, and that turn signals are a warning, not an apology, the vast majority of people DO need awd, because you certainly can’t expect them to be in tune enough with their car to feel out the edge of…
Yup. Next car is going to be a C7 Grand Sport. Just gotta put in a few years in this penalty box first.
No, i got “further” into debt to pay off a significant amount of high interest credit card debt and replace a car that was eating me out if house and home in maintenance, repairs, consumables and gas. I was looking at about 1000 dollars in various maintenence jobs in the next few months, not including the fact that…
Your finances and mine look very different. As, apparently, do your priorities. I made the right (painful) financial decision for my circumstances.
Car payments are not revolving credit. The Mustang was only worth about 12k due to the mileage. I used most of the equity to pay off credit cards and medical bills.
You’re operating on outdated stereotypes. A standard 2016 Camaro SS, not even a 1LE, is as fast around a road course as a new BMW M4. Don’t take my word for it, take Randy Pobst’s.
What are you talking about?
9The GTOs long wheelbase and relatively narrow tires meant that I could hang the tail out all day long. Also, from the factory it was appallingly soft. My second car had shocks, springs, sways, and bushings, which made turned it into a fat, but competent backroad toy. Steering was way too slow, but it had plenty of…
I have owned an 1992 SC400, a 2004 G35 Coupe, an 07 IS250 AWD, 2 2006 GTOs, a 10RX350, and a 2014 Mustang GT. I’m now in an 18 Impreza 5-Door Limited, because I have now a 90 mile commute, I drive through New York snow, and really just wanted something I didn’t have to worry about for a bit.
I chose the CVT in my Impreza because the 5 speed came with an 8mpg highway penalty, the car is tuned with a stupid rev hang when you press the clutch between gears, and the shifter feels like stirring a box of rocks.
The coupe is pretty, but the ergonomics are worse than the C7. The gauge cluster is shameful, especially considering the CTS LCD cluster drops right in and should only take a little programming to work.wish shameful, lack of cooled seats and the fact that you have to go up a trim level to get non-halogen headlights.
I got this during the EA sale. I do zero multiplayer gaming. I played through the campaign and will not go back to the game until they add a single player starfighter mode.
