I live near Atlanta, so I see these commercials. This guy is the worst, thankfully, but there are several GOP candidates vying to be the most hateful, most bigoted, pro-gun, anti-brown-skin candidate of the bunch. Because down here, that’s a pretty reliable way to get votes. Appalling.

Nico, that’s incredibly unusual. In a talent market like that, any reasonable business owner/manager would replace all full-timers with cheaper contractors, and also get rid of the departments that support full-timers - payroll, benefits, HR, etc. - since those things are handled by the contracting company.

In a way, we’re lucky big online social properties are run by younger people who have somewhat less tolerance for hate groups, even though they have lots of tolerance for un-moderated hate-speech. We’re unlucky that their tolerant beliefs are likely moderated by their desire to make as much money as possible.

We have, and ought to have, the government we deserve. God have mercy on us.

But - is the PC version ready to play yet? I know about the bugs, and the “unofficial patch,” but I don’t like paying a lot of money for a game that requires an “unofficial patch” right out of the gate.
