I really want to give these a try.

What you did there. I see it!

Roger, amphibious assault dog en route to your location. Standby for further guidance.

There was no petition for the change to Sony's E3 conference, assuming that a change was even necessary. It was a Twitter and social media campaign, not a signature petition.

That, along with a general misunderstanding of the criminal justice system.

I wish schools across America started including constitutional law as part of the standard curriculum.

Oh, they're misinformed here too. I wouldn't even blame a non-US citizen for banging on our collective intellect when it's made abundantly clear every time one of these stories are posted that people don't understand the Bill of Rights, and especially not the First Amendment.

How's this for embarrassment: I just graduated from law school. Granted I only had one class on criminal law the entire time (instead choosing to focus on Constitutional Law and National Security), still pretty pathetic lol.

Ah, a minor oversight. I stand corrected.

She hasn't seen Titanfall.

I was thinking, you know, maybe all these angry people on the internets are right?

He won't get his money back if this kid goes postal before July 16th, or doesn't show up.

e-Activists and Holiday Inn Express lawyers, they're the best.

Would've been epic! LOL.

You were right until about halfway through. Considering the charge, the bail was appropriate.

Solid post. The donor is going to be mighty salty if he just spent $500K and this kid is guilty.

Nah bro, he's innocent. A bunch of people on the internet said so, so it must be true.

Whoever made the donation is going to be salty if the kid is convicted and sent to prison, lol.

You have it technically right.

Generally correct. Around 6 months to present evidence for indictment, etc. There are certain actions the government/prosecution has to take by certain deadlines in order to meet the speedy trial requirements.
