This 42 year old would absolutely hit that. And the 15 year old I used to be would have done the same in 1987.

couple options if your not happy

sill doesnt look that bad...

Mmmmmm....Sloane Peterson.

Dirty Sanchez.

I thought this much assholeness in one place would cause some sort of black hole to form. Should I be worried?

"No BMW X5s around here, this is America, son!"

Manliness? Men don't want to tuck in their shirt. They only do it for business reasons and because the wife says so. And, for that purpose, you only do number 1.

Take this douchewagon's RS and donate it to someone in need who will love the car, drive it responsibly on the streets, and take it to Lime Rock Park every day they possibly can. I nominate myself.

I AM THROWING MONEY AT THE SCREEN BUT IT IS NOT WORKING!

I would LOVE a modern 7-8 seat microbus. My family will soon consist of 7, and I hate minivans, so I'm gonna have to buy a big ugly gas guzzling SUV. If you could build one for under $30k.. please shutup and take my money!

That's exactly what I'm thinking. A Microbus TDI would be a segment-buster and could be just as popular as the New Beetle when it first came out. I'd guess the diesel hybrid might be a bit too pricy for the segment though.

This looks so similar to something like a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Ford Flex that you've got to wonder who will buy these things.

Ten, if you count the dog and the infant in Grandma's lap.

I agree with Mr Torchinsky.. VW minivan could work on the same nostalgia line like the new MINI did

But it's just another big SUV, and who gives a shit?

They don't have the balls, they usually entering Segments after every other manufacturer proofed it successfull.

I said this to myself last night after reading about the SUV. Any VW fan is going to think this...except of course the VW fans who work for the company. Seems as though VW has gone back to thinking the customer doesn't know what they want, but VW management does. How's that cheap-o Jetta working out for ya guys?

Yes. This. 1,000 times this. Why has Volkswagen gone so far out of its way to be boring lately? Like the world really needs another huge, ugly, lame SUV. A simple, lightweight, box-on-wheels microbus would sell in droves. And that's what VW's all about these days- selling as many vehicles as possible and making all of

VW must know that the original micro-bus is completely bonkers popular and that a modern re-boot would sell like Viagra at a Ft. Lauderdale whore house. So, WHY NOT? Things that make you go hmmmmm.
