OK cool. I don’t mind the song but I’ve read some utter rants about how terrible it is. I think it’s great, although the shift into the sing-songier parts does strike me as tonally jarring. 

I like Quantum of Solace, so connections to the film don’t hurt it for me.

Geezers need excitement. If their lives don’t provide it, they’ll incite violence. Common sense, simple common sense.

That Sam Smith song is easily one of the worst Bond songs ever. Like, zero question. I remember at the time, I wanted to re-edit the opening credits of SPECTRE with Conchita Wurst’s ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’. Much better.

Go away, Matt Mira.

Same. Although ‘Spectre’ by Radiohead would have been one of the greatest Bond themes of all time had they not made the absolutely bewildering decision to drop it in favor of Sam Smith’s mediocrity.
