Nothing against the gameplay features they're promising. But just cribbing someone else's art is pretty uninspired, and what's worse, could threaten to derail this game before it gets anywhere.

I want another Minish Cap too, but not like this. Those assets are not notably different at all. If you draw the same thing as someone else, that's not being original.

Maybe it's made from scratch, but the art style is lifted nonetheless. Drawing the same thing in the same style is still plagiarism.

But if you're redrawing exactly the same things, save for some very minor differences, at what point does "inspired by" become "stolen from?" It's a thin line. Also note everyone swearing this is Minish Cap. The art is a slightly altered copy at best; at worst, it's uninspired plagiarism.

Tiles, grass, those fences, that cave...I'd recognize them anywhere.

Personally, I liked regular matches with only tranqs. The screen would get blurry as @$&# and every player would end up shooting at anything that appeared to move. Turning PD into an unplayable mess was always a riot for my friends and family way back.
