This! Cobra Kai is even more infuriating re: contact fighting. As a lapsed karate practitioner, that’s not how reputable tournaments are run. They’d NEVER get insurance, for one thing. Also, concussions are now a thing, and with all the head trauma, on of those kids definitely had one.

The rumour I’m hearing (from several sources), is that everyone’s kind of hoping we make it to Thanksgiving with in person classes. After that, school shutdown becomes pretty likely.

The only thing that may sink Ford is if there’s a big second wave in schools. Even his folksy criticism of people not listening to social distancing is working.

I don’t doubt that these are utterly delicious, but there are several reasons I will never make them. Aside from the general fussiness and number of steps, I’m not sure how having EIGHTEEN snickers bars (that are only good for a week!) is a good way to manage my existing snickers habit. What. The. Fuck. What did I just watch?!

I know lots of people consider survivor a kind of game show, but I always felt it was almost a sport - lots of physical challenges, mental toughness and a game that lends itself to bracket - like betting.

Could we get a breakdown of the NFL season by chance? It’s nice to be able to speak to my relatives about football without, you know, actually having to watch any games.

I'm disappointed with lack of sports content. 🙁
