Well, because he's an actual saint. I'm not a particularly religious individual - but Poitier is the same to me as Yahweh was to the ancient Hebrews: Don't take his name in vain. The man is a civil rights pioneer and an awesome person. This may sound ridiculous, but I believe he did more for the civil rights

Poitier is sacrosanct. Not cool.

Best comment I've ever read on this site.

My thought exactly.

You are a bigot.

The strangest thing is, refusing to serve to gay people isn't just offensive, it's terrible business. I mean, at least most of the time an ostensibly ridiculous law is passed, there's at least some discernible purpose, however absurd. I just don't get it.

Normally I'd agree with you, but I thought the game last night was generally well-officiated.

I'm familiar with the new rule, and it could have been called both ways. I'm a fan of neither team. Boeheim freaked out because it was a close call towards the end of the game, not because it was a bad call.

Some low-hanging fruit here. God, is it funny though. +1

Well, you must get tired quickly, because you're clearly new here.

Ah, gotcha.

So wait....they were shit - and you went back for more?

Yakov Smirnoff always gets a +1

It's not ok to threaten to kill someone. Period. End of fucking discussion. Go up to someone today and threaten to shoot them and fuck their sister and see how it goes over.

I gotta hand it to you, that comment was legitimately unsettling.

Well, the good news is that there won't be too many foggy witnesses for the defense attorney to impeach (because the prosecution may not even bother calling many of them), so it'll be all about the evidence, which is hopefully strong.

That bit blew my mind as well. I wouldn't hire that dude to clean my laundry.

The most ridiculous part is realizing that he's essentially the front-man for a product that sells itself. You could manage the NFL Hitchhiker's Guide style (with an isolated dude that simply says yes or no to everything) and the NFL would be just fine.

"Blood in Blood out" and threatening to kill someone are not statements that require context. Incognito's talking like a felon residing in the state pen., not an employee interacting with another employee.

You're absolutely correct, but, my god, you sound like a dick.
