That's a shame. I feel like it's been written really well this season and actually the engagement felt organic and earned. I don't think they'll be getting married until next season though, if they stick with it which I think they will.

No, she definitely got shot. You can see it happen.

This episode basically proved it's not Felicity in the grave. We've still got another 3 months to go until that death happens.

She worked pretty well in this episode. Probably the first time she's been okay in a long long time. I agree with the review though. She's better as a supporting player. She should never dominate an episode. Ever.

Whenever they need to up the drama in Oliver and Felicity's relationship, they turn Felicity into Pod!Felicity. She was around a lot in season 3. And we were doing so well…I still love her though.

Exactly. I understand her wanting to keep it out of the press or whatever but having Oliver keep a secret from his loved ones seemed totally OTT. I don't get it. She seems like a control freak and a touch like a woman scorned.

The more costumes they have, the more it feels like watching cosplayers. It gets messy when there's more than 2-3 costumes out there.

LOL you're right. I guess I was getting hopeful that they wouldn't go down that route.

The weird thing is they have been writing a healthy relationship so far this season…until now. I thought they were doing really well on the Olicity front and they undid it in one episode.

Exactly. I don't know how he expects this to work out or end well. Lying has never worked out for him before and I thought he learned that by now.

The point I was making is that he wasn't going to tell her the truth even after taking time to process because Samantha asked him not to. So he was always going to lie. Felicity didn't force that at all. Oliver's fallback is lying. It's basically in his DNA at this point.

She didn't force him to lie. What?! Where did you get that from? She literally said everyone had been waiting for him and he lied straight away, before she even said anything about knowing he had a kid. Whether it was to sort through his feelings or not, he was always going to lie to her and that's not right when

Gross. I hate it when people say 'No offence but' and then say something really offensive. You don't have to be a teenage girl to see another pov.

Wouldn't his history of hiding stuff mean she's right to be concerned about him lying? I don't deny that she overreacted a little but lying is a touchy subject between them and when you're in a relationship you need trust.

No. If he just told her the truth there wouldn't even be an issue. She doesn't care if he has a child. She cares about being lied to which I think is fair when you're in a serious committed relationship with someone.

If he just told her the truth, they wouldn't have any drama because Olicity actually work pretty well as a couple. For some reason this show thinks people want to watch relationship drama. Uh no we don't.

She's got to have something to do.

Yeah. It's super contrived. It didn't even feel in character either. Oliver always goes to Felicity for everything. He confides in her all the time. Felicity would usually be more understanding too instead of getting all ragey. The sad thing is if he just told her the truth and asked her to keep it a secret, there

That wasn't even an in-character Felicity though. She definitely overreacted but he still shouldn't have lied and he straight-up lied to her face.

Oh, my mistake.
