She got desperate enough to try it with a fan group a while ago, but nintendo found her and stopped the project. They’re like a jealous ex-boyfriend.

I bet Samus lives in her ship now. Without new games to generate revenue, her royalties are severely diminished since her games are old. Her stipend from Nintendo includes a large bale of noodles and 300 gold pieces.
Nope. @realdonaldtrump is his private account
Damn right he is
Terrible idea when part of an agency’s job is getting information out in a crisis. The best and fastest way to communicate is to use all available platforms. Or taking in information; the National Weather Service uses Twitter to receive reports of hazardous weather (you may assume radar shows everything, but it…
Software and Online support, or in other words, the two single most important aspects of a modern gaming console.
The sad part is how utterly disconnected Nintendo is with current gen gamers. It’s inexcusable that: if I’m paying for a subscription based service that you can’t get voice chat on your service, I have to use my phone? I guess I’ll put an ear piece in and place my headset over my ears. Nevermind. Fuck that.
Seriously, I was pretty stoked about this at first. But now I’m looking at a system that, for $300:
The flip side is that leaving open questions and trickling out details over the next few weeks will keep us talking about this thing through March 3.
If they can’t do it themselves they could ask others for help and coop, many software companies already have such systems in place and they work.
I’m not sure what you mean. I can buy a game on Steam and play it on different computers.
They seem to be shunning some of their previous systems’ better features (Miiverse) and highest use software (streaming video, browser), all the while implementing their competitors’ in half measures (sharing, paid online “rewards”). It’s weird that they’re going that route.
Yeah not a fan of them leaving miiverse behind. I loved it in splatoon. I got so many good laughs out of it and it has some fantastic art.
It’s borderline depressing how “meh” the Switch is right now. I preordered one on Amazon to secure it, thought about it for a week, and cancelled. I have hopes that it will turn into a great console in time, but I’m not exactly betting on it - not with how Wii-U-esque this all feels.
I think leaving Miiverse behind is a mistake, I hope they realize this and bring it back in the future or have a 2.0 version of it.
YAY region free store! Looks like I’ll get making a Japanese account.
Man it’s fucking disheartening to see so many “We have no answer at this time” responses when this console hits shelves in less then 2 months.
The Star Fox team agrees with the headline and has made a solidarity-stance video offering testimonials and an argument for purchase transfers between consoles.
I don’t understand how Nintendo keeps getting away with their archaic account system and policies, and making people rebuy the same old VC games. It’s 2017 and they still don’t have a proper unified account system.
I have no faith that Nintendo will show goodwill on this front...which is exactly why I have no qualms whatsoever of using a rather large library of ROM files to play to my heart’s content.
