Let me rephrase that.
Let me rephrase that.
What really pisses me off isn’t just Nintendo, oh no. It’s the people who defend this shit.
Given Nintendo’s history, I have no reason to believe they will be able to achieve something they have been unable to for over a decade. Just their free game game policy, they easiest thing they could do and they fucked it up. Free games for a month.
Think of it from a different perspective, what if you bought a WiiU and it was your only console this generation; you’ve already been burnt by Nintendo abandoning their hardware once and you are looking at the option of buying a PS4, Xb1 or a Switch. Depending on models and accessories all three will cost around the…
That isn’t irony. You are using the word incorrectly. As I already explained, the cost of a product is not the same as the value of the product. The value of fake 4k + HDR+all the games makes it a good value to me. The purpose of a console is to play games. You want a console that plays as many games as you like. The…
Well, okay, I see the advantage there. But I’m still skeptical that, even if they now only have to develop games for 1 system instead of 2, that Nintendo, basically by itself again (due to the lack of big 3rd party support) will be able to provide a steady-enough flow of good games to stay competative.
I don’t see any indication that it will gain traction with the casual gamer. Mario could have helped gain traction but it doesn’t get release until december. Second, the casual gamer the ones this is supposedly meant to attract all have cellphones. They are not going to be dropping their cellphones to get this either.
It doesn’t have a stronger initial lineup. Except for Zelda which can be played on the Wii U. NO other games screams AAA in terms of quality. They are all lower budget games. Again, your arguments only work based on the assume of NO competition and that is not a realistic argument to make. Whether you like it or not,…
I play the console for the exclusive and the ps4 has a lot of them. Even I ever have an interest of a third party game, I can be assure it will most likely be on that console except for RTS and strategy games which are not my thing.
I wish I have skipped the Wii U as well - that way I would have gotten the Switch.
Lets see a bunch of games with no release dates is suppose to convince people to buy a brand new console? Combine with a lot of old games I can easily play on another, plus the shittier version of a 5 year old game (skyrim)?
I bought my Wii U not too long after launch so I’d have it for Zelda, guess I could have waited an entire generation... lmao.
Please don’t assume. Assuming never goes according to plan. Let me just correct you. I did not buy the ps4 at launch, I bought it for 299.99. I have not purchase a new controller nor have I upgraded my HD. So at worst I am spending 300+400 = 700 bucks (If you ignore the fact that the ps4 pro goes on sale somtimes or…
I just don’t understand. How can they repeat the same decisions they made with the WiiU and think this will work any better?
Mine manage to loose full size Dual Shocks. These things are going to disappear in the first week.
Kids are going to lose the shit out of these.
Oh boy a free game from the 80s every month!!!
This is NOT what they should be showing today.
Like, sure, we all love Skyrim - but it’s five fucking years old. Even my dead grandmother has played it at this point. This won’t be a console seller, and while it’s great to have a relatively portable console that can run it, this won’t be a system seller.
And they didn’t…
I’m getting a little worried that certain controllers will be required for certain games. It seems like you can’t play Splatoon 2 with just the joycons, so you’ll either need to play it docked or with the pro controller (sold separately of course).
