That’s why I said “community college” -- I don’t know if this varies by state, but the ones here in New York teach lots of trade courses for in-demand skills like welding, plumbing, and electrical work.

Weird how that “personal responsibility” rural white folks are always going on about never seems to extend to “getting your ass to community college to learn how to do something useful”.
