When they are splitting the units, they are manually box-selecting a group of units on the screen and either attack-moving the units or right click moving them.

It is not a keybind. We call it control groups. As there is no need to waste so many control groups for a single type of unit in your army, they are in 1 control group most of the time.

It only took me two tries to beat Ornstein and Smough. I attribute it to playing against Gold Ratholos and Silver Rathian in Monster Hunter PSP. The rest of Anor Londo was pretty hard though especially the archers on the catwalk so I died a lot on those parts.
