I’ve never seen the first one. You’ll be fine. Also it’s not scary. There’s no jump scares or thing like that. It’s a thriller in the veins of The Warriors or Escape From New York. Sarge’s character is loosely based on the Outlaw Josie Wales, especially his hair.

Phil Noto is amazing. Oscar Isaac’s face is maddeningly tough to capture and Noto makes it look easy.
