I am not sure how much of the stuff on that site is real vs shit-posting, but really, the people pushing all the propaganda on that site should be reviled. There are a ton of delusional people dumping tons of money (even taking out loans to buy more stock), based on this idea that the stock is going to shoot up

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure if it were an AWS problem, then Reddit wouldn’t have been the ones to implement a fix. But according to their Twitter, they found the problem, and fixed it themselves.

What I don’t get it... why is Reddit down so much more than other major websites? Websites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Netflix etc get way more traffic than Reddit, and I can’t even remember the last YouTube outage. They run on AWS, which is highly reliable.

Awarding popular movies can have an increase in viewership though. The year Return of the King won a bunch of awards, viewership peaked (was up over 25% from the year before), and then the next year, it dropped right back down. But probably why it won was because everyone knew it was going to win a bunch of awards, so

There’s plenty of superconductors that work at standard atmospheric pressure, they just have to be really cold (like, liquid nitrogen cold).

My point was that you’ll take the train to the city, but since, especially in LA, the public transportation is so bad in the city, you still need to drive a car to get around the city. It’s very unlikely you want to hang out close to Union Station.

This exact game already exists, and has been on the Android App Store for 3 years, just called Summer.

This bullet train won’t help you not be stuck in traffic. There isn’t a ton of traffic between the cities, it’s inside the cities.

I thought they were weird too, but I see my brother’s life, and I kind of get it. He runs large construction projects. He does need to haul stuff, both in the bed and trailers, and he spends a lot of time on site, which can be far away, and then he has to be in meetings/on calls/working on a laptop.

You’re operating under the assumption that censorship is bad, thus if it’s not bad, it’s not censorship. But that’s just not correct. The definition of censorship:

The case was an artist sold a piece of art to Meow Wolf before it really took off and got big, so it was sold for a low amount ($1000). Meow Wolf now is huge, and has a gift shop. A book in the gift shop has photos of the exhibits, including photos of her work. She claims she should get a portion of sales because her

First, of course only censorship by the government is prohibited. Private people/companies are allowed to censor all they want. But just because only government censorship is illegal doesn’t mean that it isn’t censorship when it’s done by a private company. And just because it’s censorship doesn’t mean it’s bad. But

This has a bit of a “Am I so out of touch? No, it’s the children who are wrong” vibe. He’s basically saying “we made a great movie, but people just weren’t smart enough to understand how it was great.”

I’ll admit I have a soft spot in my heart for KFC. But those Chocolate Chip Cookies were an abomination.

Do they cost more? Last one of these I saw (I think back in 2020), the celebrity meal cost the same, came with a sauce (which I think they charge like a quarter for) and I’m guessing came with a unique box or something?

Did you know you can use Microsoft Word to type the words “Heil Hitler”? Obviously, Word needs more filters built in!

If Chipotle gives you diarrhea, you need to get more fiber in your diet, so your body doesn’t go into shock the first time you get some from some beans.

So, Amazon is taking 50% when they are storing the product, delivering the product, hosting the website for the product, taking the payment for the produce and doing the advertising for the product? That honestly sounds about normal? I mean, how much does storage and fulfillment normally cost? I’d guess that’s a

I 100% still believe the Vin Diesel/The Rock drama is mostly fabricated, and he’s coming back in the next movie (or even the end credits scene of this movie) to a thunderous applause.

Do people really not clean the filter? I feel like the one or two times I forgot to clean it, the dryer took 2x’s longer to dry.
