The guy was found outside the car on the concrete with a big hole in the front window of the car. So they are assuming he is the driver.

Innocent until proven guilty?
The car is as safe as it could be, the concrete once he left the car through the window, not so much.
We get that, but you have to remember, he stole a car, went over 100mph in the middle of a urban city. How many INNOCENT sons/daughters did he almost kill? Would you be the one explaining to them if people would have died why they are dead?
The guy died though due to his own stupidity, and I tell this to everyone WEAR…
He did get a trial, he was trialed by the laws of physics.
His income at Tesla Motors is 1$ per year. Well more accurately, it is minimum wage and then he returns all but 1$
It is missing a manual transmission, now sure it does not have a transmission, but you can add a stick with Bluetooth connects to the car and emulates a manual transmission. And when not being used it can let you use it as a joystick to play car games on the 17" screen.
While Musk was the co-founder of paypal and was the largest shareholder, he had little influence there. Paypal was pretty much hijacked from him. When he went on vacation, the Paypal mafia removed him as ceo.
Well that technically won't disqualify them legally, especially since this will be in Beijing outside of US laws. Though side note, Tesla is not the one giving the 10k. The contest is being given by a 3rd party.
This is the internet, you don't know when someone is being serious or not because you'd be surprised what people say seriously. Hence why there is things like "jk" and "/s"
No, cause that guy most likely stole a key. And generally these kind of things are not about the money but reputation for your security company.
The 10k bounty is for a remote hack. So far none have been found.
I can think of a few things that can easily be done.
1) Carbon fiber/Magnesium chassis over aluminum
2) Make the car into a roadster
3) Add front motors and batteries to power the front motor
I would argue the opposite. When you think of souls you think giving off electromagnetic aka electricity. When was the last time souls gave off combustion? Demons?
You probably want to wait for Tesla's next roadster (hopefully 2018?). A full sized sedan while can race a track is not generally ideal for that.
Sure, we can do that too. There are 3 trillion miles traveled by all vehicles in a year. (2 trillion if only passenger vehicles but we will use the higher number). 150,000 fires means 1 fire every 20 million miles.
Tesla has traveled over 344 million miles as of June. So 1 fire for every 86 million miles. Aka virtually…
Hmm, Weintraub, German last name? How much shares did this guy own?
The problem with that is then you have to look at statistics of american cars in mexico. Which gets to be quite complex as you can imagine.
It normally isn't. But due to all the publicity and media asking for comment, Tesla had to make a public statement.
Are you somehow forgetting the Tesla cars sold in 2012? Also remember that one of the fires was in Mexico so how would you count that one?
