Am absolutely LIVING for people with “don’t tread on me” profile pics defending the British monarchy.

It’s also just nonsense to say the “royal family” has survived for any amount of time. Like, I’m sorry, is she Elizabeth Stuart? Tudor? Orange? York?

Lighten up? You:

But yeah hon, it's all Meg lololol

The more substance-free accusations leak out of the palace, the more convinced I become that there is serious tea that could be spilled. I expect the interview to be quite diplomatic, but the way the palace is freaking out is making the firm look all kinds of bad and deeply suspicious.

$800. That’s how much the diocese of Philadelphia told me an annulment would cost. I declined when I got remarried but not in the church. So they said I couldn’t take communion anymore but when I go to church, which to be fair, is not very often, I still get communion. I feel like me and the Lord have patched things

If it’s so hard to find seasoned attorneys willing to take public interest jobs (which I agree with), then she probably could have gotten her job without misrepresenting her heritage, and that’s what she should have done. Most of the lawyers I have worked with from NAACP LDF (you know, the National Association for the

I still enjoy the Sims 4, but yeah it’s getting by on past glories. Besides the skin tone overhaul & create-a-sim, which are great, it’s got the same feeling as the Sims 3, generally. If someone said Sims 3 was a better game, I probably couldn’t argue against that because Sims 4 arguably is lesser than 3 in scope and

My biggest Issue with It was It was boring - It just didn’t hold my attention. I’m not an editor, but a tighter cut could have helped. So much of the Max stuff felt repetitive. The one thing I wanted more of - Diana and Barbara becoming friends - I’m sure they have that. The Steve In another guy’s body Is so weird -

You’d think two supposed heroes would consider those implications but, no, they just fuck and make fun of his apartment and clothes. It’s incredibly stupid and gross.

Anyone else think the movie has some SERIOUS ethical issues with the way they brought back Steve? Why not just conjure him a body out of thin air? Why did he need to take over someone else’s life? Like, did that guy cheat on his girlfriend by having sex with Diana? Did his family and friends worry about him while he

The script was bad. It plays like a first draft at times. Like they didn’t have time to polish it and likely A LOT of studio interference.

Generally, I think folk are trying too hard to not like the movie

Or the part where Steve Trevor can fly any plane because they’re all alike, despite having been dead for 40 years.

I seem to have liked this movie more than most here, but I have to really disagree with this point specifically in re: Steve Trevor. The entire emotional arc of Diana and Steve in this movie is based on the relationship they created in the first movie and the fact that she has to sacrifice him AGAIN to save the world.

You didn’t even get to the part where Max’s son teleports from an office building being attacked by people who I guess just really wanted to work there, to an expressway without any explanation whatsoever.

That’s... great. Gal Gadot is a beacon of light in this film, and Kristen Wiig is really great, but the rest of the film is just weighted down by absolutely baffling storytelling decisions, hot shit CGI, ridiculous editing (that opening mall scene was absolutely awful, with strange angles, quick cuts, and weird

You mean by pointing out a clear example of the poor writing that a lot of people point out as a main flaw of the film? Thats not trying hard to dislike a film, it strikes me as a pretty standard takeaway.

Generally, I think folk are trying too hard to not like the movie

I assumed at the end they were gonna have everyone collectively forget that all this stuff happened, that way Wonder Woman’s absence from the world between WW1 and BvS could be explained...and heck, maybe that was the intention, as nobody SEEMS to be the least bit traumatized or shell-shocked by the near armageddon
