I think that really looking at Batman as somebody who has gone through this trauma, and then everything that he’s doing is then a reaction to that, rather than shy away from that

They’d also be smart to keep blowing up planets. Been working so well for SW.
Yikes, how much you get paid for this "review?"
“Shut up, Wesley!”
A whole ship of Wesley Crushers... the fandom will LOVE that! (I’m reserving judgment until I see a trailer, though...)
PRO: - Love that they are using TNG style design for the ship, the outfits, the LCARS interface, etc.
Much preferred the film, powerful and lasting character portrayals compared to the series where they just phoned it in. Better costumes in the film, better overall aesthetic.
Well, they do have to find a way to explain Ralph Dibny’s disappearance since Hartley Sawyer is now radioactive in real life. Too bad, because I was actually enjoying Sue Dearbon, and now what do they need her for?
Like offensive tweets from the past that have recently been unearthed?
Theres a small bout of plot progression in mid season then again in the last 3 or 4 episodes but otherwise its an extremely slow series with almost exclusively the same villain all the way through.
A lot of it could come down to software as well, Ubisoft have said Assassins Creed Valhalla will be locked to 30fps at 4k on Xbox Series X, meanwhile Polyphony Digital have been saying they’ve been experimenting with 60fps at 8k but are leaning towards optimising for 240fps at 4k on their Ps5 dev kit.
The true horror is being trapped with Jesse Eisenberg
I know I shouldn’t hold this against her, but Alison Pill will always be the lunatic school teacher in Snow Piercer to me.
I’m always anxiously waiting for her to snap when she’s on screen.
How can Sam do half the stuff Steve did with the shield f he doesn’t also get some version of the super soldier serum?
To be honest, the most sci-fi thing about the show thus far is that the scientific community got ahold of the Cube before AirBNB: Lots of communal space! Great mood lighting!
Am I alone in not wanting The Federation to be like this? Star Trek was always (to me at least) the good we hoped the future would be. It was meant to be the best of us and not a bunch of people who would turn away refugees. I suppose The Federation could elect a Trump regime, but that’s not what I want my Trek.
So... what was the anagram of Rose Tyler?
I would watch that trainwreck.
Thanks! I hate it!
