You forgot to ad the truck driver for right of way violation
You know, a load of safety things are mandatory in Europe that eventually end up in North America after 20 or so years. However, those that decide that it infringes on their rights, comfort, hair style usually just end up as statistics beforehand. Still waiting for ABS on Semi-Trailers here.......
What do you think the word autopilot means?
The idea the Doctor is “socially awkward” is complete bullshit. Even the new the new one, she is absolutely an extrovert.
Some company should really bundle all these streaming services together and charge me one exorbitant monthly fee. I won't be able to watch all of them, but at least this way I'll have them.
I use Books a Million for my ebook purchases because they use ePub. No way I’m getting sucked into the Amazon honepot.
My wife, OTOH, has almost 300 books in her Kindle Library, ensuring a headache if I ever want to move her off of Amazon. (I tried once, and she just couldn’t get used to Calibre... sadly)
Let’s not be deceived about this. Those rules are not in place to “keep senators focused on the historic task at hand.”
Living on Mars is going to suck. The trip out west sucked too. And you had to sell much of your earthly possessions to put together the resources for a viable wagon and ox setup to get there. But people did it, because people like to go new places even if half of your family dies of Dysentery on the way there. And…
So we’re going from impossible to just really expensive but doable and instead of seeing the great leap in the right direction that it is, you complain that it isn’t free. It’s never free, it’s just someone else paying for it. The Apollo astronauts didn’t pay for their trip to the moon, the American people picked up…
I believe in climate change and I believe the federal government should do more to address it, but this decision was absolutely correct in my view as a lawyer. The courts are not set up to manage or oversee any sort of broad, long-term environmental program to deal with climate change. And frankly, I find the dissent…
I like and use plex for my own media (and have plex pass) but I’m not interested in any of this stuff. More control over my library, display, and playback would be more of my thing, but I don’t hate it if it brings more people.
This is a great article and makes great points, but I do want to clarify something: opioids CAN be life-saving drugs. Extreme pain can lead to skyrocketing blood pressure, which untreated can lead to stroke, aneurysm, or myriad other life-threatening conditions within a short time, and cause other life threatening…
The Japanese judicial system is so tilted (99% conviction rates) that it’s hard to see how he’d get a fair trial, especially since the evidence points toward a contrived set of charges drummed up by MITI to protect Nissan from falling into French government control. This was a set-up, pure and simple.
Did anyone see the picture and immediately know it wasn’t real....
I have Apple TV+ because it was free with my new phone. The only show worth watching was For All Mankind - the rest of it is uninspiring garbage. Even Jason Momoa couldn’t save the nauseatingly unwatchable See.
Masters Of The Air sounds interesting but there’s fuck-all information about it - likely release dates etc.
Hope they’re able to come up with something worth watching. I’m still in my one year free trial period, but based on the current shows (which are nearly impossible to find on the AppleTV interface), I would not pay for AppleTV+.
The Xavier and Picard characters were more alike than they were different, especially considering Picard toward the end of TNG. And I think Sir Pat brought a LOT of Jean-Luc into Charles.
