Having owned both, the Neato is MUCH better at not missing sections. I owned 2 Roombas over the last 8 yrs before finally going to a Neato. No regrets.

While in the Navy, I had some badass customized laptops from Toshiba that were nearly $3000. Granted, $9000 is triple what I paid (I was an E-5 after all), but I can totally see a market for it.
