I’m just as ashamed as you are, trust me.

Mine is always the Lauras and the Bills—Laura Linney, Laura Dern, Bill Paxton, Bill Pullman. Also Robin Wright and Patricia Arquette sometimes.

I’ve seen (and enjoyed) Bojack, though it may not be something I would have initially watched a trailer for and wanted to see, I had friends tell me I should watch it. Zorn may be a good show too, but just off the trailer I’m not super into it. People seem to be calling for blood for Clover not being super into it

I think it’s just a very specific audience—those 80's babies who loved that stuff will love it, but it doesn’t seem to be something that would appeal very universally. Sorry folks.

I LAHVE Maria Bamford, I can’t wait to watch LD.

This shit happens every fucking day and nothing is changing.

I can always tell when I read the comments on a Jez post after it’s been crossposted to the Gawker mainpage—the discussion seems to devolve

I also don’t like reading things over at Gawker because the commenters are much less fun. I prefer my news posts to be over here at Jez.

I know!!!! I’ve been thinking about that—they should record a performance for that so I can have it on my shelf next to my Into the Woods DVD and watch it all the tiiiiime. And I know the band and chorus kids would rather have that to watch when the teacher has a sub than Cats. (seriously, every single time our band

NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER

LOLOLOL are you fucking kidding me??? Men are so fragile

ZAPSS is a pretty fun acronym, though

I went for two!! I’d been entering every single day (alarm on my phone and everything) and this was for a Saturday matinee. I’m always the first one awake so I entered on my phone while we were still in bed and when I got the confirmation I was like “<bf’s name> WE’RE SEEING HAMILTON TODAY” and then we had to like get

“Saltpeter, John”

I said upthread and I fully believe it, LMM is our generation’s Stephen Sondheim.

I LOVE 1776.

I love that episodeeeeee

I KNOW when I told my friends I had people telling me congratulations and “I want to murder you” in the same sentence

My boyfriend isn’t a big fan of musicals so every time I try to explain to him why it’s so brilliant and all the little references in it that are so wonderful and how I earnestly think he’s the next Stephen Sondheim he doesn’t quite get it. But I’ll patter on regardless.

I actually won the Hamilton lottery a few weeks ago. It was amazing and I sobbed through half of it and I want to go again.
