The WRX wagon wasn’t really a wagon so much as a slightly longer hatchback. At least to me it wasn’t a proper wagon, like a 9-5 wagon or Volvo wagon.

My 94 9000 Aero was my favorite Saab I’ve owned yet. I definitely regret parting with it, although I did switch to a Viggen coupe so it wasn’t a total downgrade.

I personally wouldn’t take the Volvo or BMW over the Saab. The E39 is a shitbox of problems.

As others have said, this has been going on forever. The original motor is an asthmatic boat anchor. The LS is far more powerful, for very little weight change. There was a guy running around here with an SBC swapped 914. Really wild to hear a V8 engine note out of that little go-kart.
