I use a laptop as well , when I have too... but there's nothing quite like getting home to your custom desktop with a nice big monitor, large comfy keyboard, and enough power to noticeably raise the room temperature ;)

Sounds like you'd love Minecraft. Infinite worlds and you can do/build whatever the hell you want.

Probably the Nostromo suit he was working on for like 20 years.

The laws of physics dictate that splitting hydrogen by current means will always take more energy than you will get out of recombining it back into water. There's nothing to bust. Its a dead end.

Also what is your favorite game/game series?

What is your personal computer setup like? Have you ever built your own?

Punishing myself? How so? It was a rather high end $500+ tablet that I and many other people got on sale after HP decided to dump WebOS like 3 months after its release. Its not like it was a junk $99 tablet you find at walmart this thing is on the same level as the iPad 2.

It get updates whenever I want it to get updates since its rooted and XDA produces tons of software for it. And yes, vanilla android.

Running 4.4.2 still on mine but it runs great with a nice 1.78 Ghz overclock :) The screen is one area that would be nice to upgrade though. The low res makes reading a little blurry...

I got 3 :D a 32GB model and 2 16GB units. Sold one of the 16s for 140. Probably could have gotten more but it was to an extended family member.

Exactly. I still use my HP Touchpad from 2011. Best 99 bucks I've ever spent. Sure it'd be nice if it was thinner, but the core experience hasn't changed much since then.

Because the Pro didnt use a small number of really fast cores, it used a huge number of slower cores. the Xeon procs it uses are only clocked at 2.4Ghz rather than 3.5 -4.0 Ghz in a "normal" chip. Whether or not this translates to real world usage is completely irrelevant to the ridiculous article title.

Of course the 2012 Mac Pro is going to score low in a single core test. Its a flippin' 12-core computer. The Pro is probably 10x more powerful overall.

The article was not updated yet when I posted the comment. But thanks for the sass.

The article wasnt updated yet when I posted the comment. Dont be a smartass.

Thats because the tablet isnt going to have the benefit of carrier subsidization to rake in the cash.

I dont have Ethernet to my TV area anyway, but that certainly would have been preferable. My Wifi network chokes if it has to stream at more than ~25Mbps. Is it at least 802.11AC capable?

Oppo One+ One here I come. I was holding off because I thought this would be cheap, but nope.

Thats soooo much bigger than my One X. Pass...

650 DOLLARS?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
