I’ve never had an issue with them even with 550 lbs. And I’ve dropped them and set them down hard.

I don’t have this problem as much any more since I stopped wearing “tighty wighties” and switched to boxer briefs. I do have the issue when I am wearing swim trunks and walking a lot like at the beach or a water park. What saved me was bicycle shorts under my trunks.

Yeah, because a 45 pound weight will hurt less if you drop it on your toe with shoes on.

Sweat also makes the grips slippery. Of course, most wipes and solutions are will evaporate within a few minutes so it isn’t going to stay around that long. I don’t care either way. I’m not a germaphobe so it doesn’t bother me. Our gym does provide water and soap in the bathrooms and hand sanitize solution.

I always find it interesting that people will wide down the place where your butt and/or back touched, but they almost NEVER wipe down where your hands touch. Seems to me that you would be more concerned with the germs that touch your hands than what is touching your clothes. I know it is for sweat too, but your hands Read more

Outside of the “wiping down equipment” one, the others do bother me. Our gym just changed from using towels and a spray bottle to wipes. Seems to me that wipes would be a lot more waste in the landfill. Not to mention that they are never filled and always empty.

No, Amazon DID NOT give me any other choices. Maybe they changed it since I posted this comment almost 2 months ago.

I wear KSO. During the warm months, this is pretty much all I wear.

I wear Vibram FiveFingers to lift. I use to lift in my socks, but by using these, I don’t have to take off and put on my shoes. They don’t slip. And since I lift heavy, it keeps me “grounded”.

I just did this yesterday. The interesting fact is that Amazon didn’t offer me a choice. They just told me to take it to UPS and scan the code. Since I had to go to UPS to drop off some other packages, it was pretty convenient. I don’t know why you assume people doing this are “Lazy AF”, but it is a nice service.

So you don’t have to pay for parking or gas?

So you can save maybe $ 40? I live like 15 mins from the airport, but I have to pay gas to get there, pay to park, and then wait in line. I think I actually have lost money by that time.

Why does it have to be for “breakfast” or mornings?

I miss the old Lifehacker before it was bought out.

I called AT&T the other day about something else that had nothing to do with my DirecTV bill. The lady on the phone gave me a $60 per month credit on my DirecTV bill for two years. I didn’t even ask for it. I was surprised. My wife and I have talked for a while about getting rid of it for a while, but with that, there Read more

$ 60 haircuts!? I’m glad I’m a guy. $10 haircuts for me.

I bought one of these new like 10+ years ago. I was lucky and got a special deal for it at $450. It is still going strong and the best chair I’ve ever had.

I’ve never had an issue in 30+ years. But then again, I don’t buy the cheap bristles either. I wonder if that could be the problem. Even though I haven’t had an issue, I might consider changing to something else. This sounds rather unpleasant.
