If they scrap the live service they may be able to turn this into a decent single player game. The ROI will be terrible either way so at least try to start a new franchise because this IP is DOA otherwise.

The only thing I can think they meant was “sub AAA”. This game, whether you like it or not, looks like like a serious attempt at excellence and not as some filler for gamepass.

Hard to believe this is a bigger consolidation than Disney/Fox considering MS is last place in gaming. COD and Diablo are the only good IP they have left. MS should save the billions and just hand out job offers to all Acti staff and make new IP with them.

I think it helps that pop culture has effectively come to a stand still as far as new IP goes. I don’t remember liking anything the older generation did but the kids today are still into same same old shit that started when I was young.
