It’s snowing in Edmonton so no, a trip on the bike is a no go today.

Head gaskets problems are really only an issue on the NA engines, but lost compression and bearings are always a possibility on the turbo engines.

Its a manual, its an XT, no accidents, no rust, overall good condition, low miles, maintenance records.

Mods aside, you find me a rust free 2005 forester xt with 122k miles and a manual for $6,250 I’d be pretty damn interested.

There is at least one oppo who’s had it done.  Seems pretty clean and well done.  Better than having the frame crack in half.

It looks surprisingly well done and completely useless.

Vancouver is an odd place for such an extreme snow machine, they barely have snow.
